Diamond Comfort Lock
While it is pleasing to the eye, it is extremely easy and convenient to use. With a single movement - simply by turning the key, the gear lever can be locked. It is fixed in reverse gear (in cars with automatic transmission the gear lever is fixed in parking position) and it prevents the car from changing into any forward gear. In the lock, there are 24 pairs of pins in both sides of the lock insert. Specifically designed safety pins of the same length ensure protection against scanning. All the 24 pairs of pins can be adjusted in four different depths. The four radial lines of pins can be arranged according to choice, thus the number of possible arrangements is uncountable. Maximum safety is also guaranteed by the fact that you can only have duplicate keys made in the factory and your signature, your password and your code card is also required.
Diamond Stift Lock
The Diamond Stift Lock, similarly to the Comfort Lock, is a lock fitted in the torque tube under the upholstery and fastened with bump head nuts, thus creating unbreakable joints. It fixes the gear lever of the car in reverse gear (in cars with automatic transmission it fixes the gear lever in parking position) with the help of a removable steel pin, thus preventing any changing of the gear. The above mentioned steel pin needs to be completely pushed in in the bushed console, which is attached to the body of the car or the gear box, as a result of which the interlocking locking bolt on the pin gets caught in. To use the car again, the steel pin needs to be removed from the console, thus releasing the gear lever and ensuring its free movement again. When unlocking the car, the KABA lock, which can be unlocked with the key on the main side of the pin, discontinues any blocking of the locking bolt. While using the car, the steel pin is stored in a holder on the side of the torque tube.
The support console of the lock is fastened to the car frame with high-strength steel bolts, which results in joints which are impossible to break. During the manufacturing process the surface of all the components is hardened to HRC 60. The 16-millimetre diameter of the utilized tempered steel locking bolt guarantees unique rigidity and strength. All locks are manufactured in compliance with the international safety regulations.
The KABA lock in a tempered steel casing, which meets the highest security requirements, has been patented in 20 countries all around the world. The lock has been tested and meets the following safety regulations: B 5454, EN 1303 class 5. The duplex key is simply impossible to duplicate since the code is not drilled or chased on the key, but a special process of milling creates the precise lever steps of the key. The introduction teeth have also been milled, thus providing even more additional protection against illegal duplication of keys.
